Choosing the
ideal hat

Round

The ideal hat for you is going to be any type of hat that has detail in the superior part of the hat. For example, these hats have a lot of detail on the headbands, bows, flowers, etc. Tall hats are not recommended for you.

The hats that typically fit the round face, tend to have small brims and are not too wide. You should find a median when it comes to brim size.

Stay away from hats that have a round look to them. Especially on the crown. Take these considerations when choosing your ideal hat.

Oval

This is more of a balanced type of head shape, as it can wear just about any style of hat. You will want to choose your hat more according to your style and personality.

Keep in mind, you do not want the brim of your hat surpassing your shoulders.

Always keep the hat proportional to your height and body mass.

Long

With a long face, you always want to make your face look wider. You can achieve this by choosing a hat with more of a round look to it.

When looking at the brim of the hat, you want it to be big and have sort of a dip to them. Never let the brim surpass your shoulders.

Hats with tall crowns will benefit you well. Longer the face, taller the crown.

Square

The ideal hat for this type of face, are the ones with medium size brims. You don’t want your hat to have too big of a look to it, yet not too small of a look to it as well.

When it comes to the crown of the hat, you want to have a round look in it. You want to bring out your facial features, as well as the shape of your face.

Another option for a square face, would be an asymmetrical hat. These hats have an angle to them and have a relaxed look. Match the hat with your style and personality primarily.

Heart

For this type of hat, you want to have a medium sized brim with a slouched look.

Stay away from tall crowns, go for more of a balanced medium sized brim.

You can be versatile when it comes to the shape of this hat. Rounded hats are usually the go to, but you can pretty much go with any hat, relaxed looks are the best. Match mostly with your style and personality.

FIT Guide

FInding the Right Hat Size

1. To measure the circumference of your head, you will need a flexible tape measure. Apply it around your head without pressure so it is a little loose and not tight.

If you happen to not have a tape measure, you can use a string or something flexible you can use the measurment of and use it to measure your head as well.

2. You want to measure around where a hat usually rest on your head Use two fingers and place them above your ears. Right above your fingers is usually where you can get an exact measurment for your head.

Note: Don't measure too firmly, because you want a little breathing room in between your head and the hat.

Below you will find a table of measurments to ensure that you are purchasing the correct size for your head.
